The Characters of The Diamond Legacy
Candice Grey - The ward of Father Cole. Troy rescued an eleven-year-old orphan from the streets of NYC and Father Cole trained her in the war for the shadow ball.
Nina Fey - Works at the New York Public Library. Ian Knight and Julius Sanctus task her with finding the lost magical tome, The Talisman, which holds the secrets to the end of the world.
Randy White - Gabe White’s nurse and second wife. She is drawn into the war when she decides her love for Gabe is stronger than her fear of Terrance Diamond.
Mary Solomon - Youngest of the 3 Sisters, the illegitimate triplets of Kyle Linx (the demon Sariel) and Stacey White (Mark Hunter’s first wife), born Mary White and horribly disfigured by drinking lemonade spiked with holy water.
Anna Regnum - Middle daughter of the 3 Sisters, the illegitimate triplets of Kyle Linx (the demon Sariel) and Stacey White (Mark Hunter’s first wife), born Anna White and the ringleader of her sisters in her obsessive hunt for the shadow ball.
Vesta Silva - Oldest of the 3 Sisters, the illegitimate triplets of Kyle Linx ( the demon Sariel) and Stacey White (Mark Hunter’s first wife), born Vanessa White. She is cursed with the irresistable kiss of death.
Amy Hunter - Oldest daughter of Mark and Olivia Hunter. She is in the hotel industry and leads the family to Las Vegas for the final showdown for the shadow ball.
June Hunter - Middle daughter of Mark and Olivia Hunter. She is the law student who Pat Ryan falls in love with and is scripted into the war for the shadow ball.
Grace Hunter - The youngest daughter of Mark and Olivia Hunter. She follows her oldest sister to Las Vegas to escape her humdrum life and make her fortune in Sin City.
Gabe White - Doctor in the upstate New York restort town of Hampton Heights. Celeste White is his first wife and their son is Mark (Hunter). His second wife is Randy White. The day Terrance Diamond moves in next door to Gabe is the day his life changes forever.
Celeste White - Gabe’s first wife. She is targeted by Terrance Diamond in his quest to overturn the lives in Hampton Heights. When Gabe marries Randy, she retires to Florida to run a foster home, but she has a secret of her own….
Jordan Knight - Gynecologist and Gabe’s partner in their medical practice in Hampton Heights. The declared bachelor is snared by his nurse, Isis, and they are married and have a son, Bradley, who will dedicate his life to the salvation of his beloved Vanessa White, cursed to become Vesta Silva.
Isis - Jordan’s wife and mother of Bradley. She is seduced by Jordan’s bastard son, Luke Perl, and has a son of her own, Ian Knight. Bradley’s half-brother is a leading figure in the search for the shadow ball… and the targeted demise of his sibling….
Bradley Troy Knight - As a teenager, he falls in love with Vanessa White. When she embraces her dark side and becomes Vesta Silva, he transforms himself, turning into Troy and dedicating his life to the study of demonology, all in his quest to win back Vanessa and cure her of the birthright of her demonic father.
Julius Sanctus - The demon hunter first comes on the scene when he chases June Hunter through a blizzard in Chicago with his sawed-off shotgun which fires holy water cartridges. June was possessed by the demon Reglius, and Julilus believes the human host is worth sacrificing to rid the world of one more demon.
Terrance Diamond - Gabe White’s new neighbor in Hampton Heights, but he is more than he seems. He is the demon Malaki who in his human host attempts to shatter Gabe’s life, but thanks to his family and friends, Gabe locks Terrance away in his shadow ball, an incarceration which leads to a legend and fanatical followers who want to usher in their Anti-Christ.
Beth Diamond - She is the demon Jezebel. Terrance’s sister in her first incarnation in Hampton Heights. She seduced Jordan Knight and had his son, Luke Perl. In her second incarnation as Dennis Holt, she seduces Celeste and Gabe saves his ex-wife from her demonic designs, but not before she is impregnated with Hannah White, Mark’s half-sister. In her third incarnation she is Saul, son of billionnaire Wayne Danning, who are leaders of Terrance Diamond’s followers determined to usher in Armageddon.
Vicki Diamond - She is the demon Sariel. In her first incarnation, she is the daughter of Beth and niece of Terrance. She kills Dylan Taft, Gabe’s brother-in-law and attempts to seduce Mark as a teenager. Only Gabe’s interference saves his son. In her second incarnation, she is Kyle Linx and seduces Mark’s first wife, Stacey, who gives birth to the 3 Sisters. Her third incarnation is as Zach Danning, brother of Saul.
Dylan Taft - Gabe White’s brother-in-law, he was a believer in the supernatural and the first to believe in Terrance Diamond’s evil designs. He is seduced and killed by Vicki Diamond, but not before warning Gabe of the danger of the Diamonds.
Frank Erdos - New York State Trooper and Dylan Taft’s best friend. He shares Dylan’s belief in the supernatural and investigates the deaths caused by the Diamonds. He is seduced by Anna Regnum as a teenager and she cries rape, putting him in jail. Upon his release, everything has changed. Gabe White has died, his son has a second family, and the woman he has always loved, Randy White, is a widower. But he is obsessed with getting his revenge on Anna, the woman who betrayed him and ruined his life, like a cockroach who has burrowed beneath his skin….
Mark Hunter - Son of Gabe and Celeste White. His first wife, Stacey, is seduced by Kyle Linx (the demon Sariel) and gives birth to the 3 Sisters. For their first sixteen years Mark believes they are his children. Stacey (Palmer) White - Mark’s first wife, she is the mother of the 3 Sisters, sired by the demon Sariel in the guise of Kyle Linx. When her daughters come into their own, and Mark flees his sinister family, she is seduced by the exorcist, Father Yew Quinn. She becomes his mistress as he seeks the shadow ball, but she is also a spy for Terrance Diamond’s legions…
Father Yew Quinn - Exorcist who is seeking the whereabouts of the shadow ball, to keep it safe from the followers of Terrance Diamond. He is in love with Stacey White and they have a son together, Nathan, who is a believer in the coming Armageddon and sleeping with his own mother. Father Quinn keeps the silver sword, an ancient weapon used in the battle against demons, in hiding, for use on the day he must champion the cause against the shadow ball.
Olivia Hunter - Mark’s second wife and mother of Amy, June and Grace. She chased Mark as a teen and dedicates her life to standing by his side in the battle for the shadow ball. Vesta Silva targets her in the war and Mark must save the love of his life from his own daughter…
Patrick Aquinas Ryan - Pat is a promising seminary student and the love of June Hunter. He is fighting his own feelings for the woman he has spent the last four years with in college. When June is targeted by Joyce Diamond, he must save her from a war they never knew existed.
Aaron Stein - Pat’s roommate in college and his best friend. Joyce Diamond seduces him to get close to June and proceeds to employ an ancient ritual to possess her with the demon, Reglius, all in a design to seek out the shadow ball and destroy the Hunter family. Aaron stays at Pat’s side to save their friend and meets Candice Grey, an exciting woman who affects him like no other.
Joyce Diamond - A seeker of the shadow ball, she will stop at nothing to discover its whereabouts. Gabe and Mark have planted hundreds of false leads and Joyce has dedicated her life to decoding the stanzas. It has taken her around the globe and she isn’t hesitant to seduce… or kill… for her prize. Her destiny is to become Terrance’s right hand as the Empress of Hades.
Ian Knight - Bastard son of Isis Knight and Luke Perl. He is the half-brother of Troy Knight. Ian is dedicated to discovering the shadow ball and ascending the the Diamond ladder. In his quest, he employs the Sigil of Azazel, an ancient pendant with power over the demon of its name, and his staunch muscle, Billy Slick, a criminal with no reservations to kill for his master.
Azazel - Wind demon. He who possesses the Sigil of Azazel has dominion over the demon of its name… as long as he has the mental fortitude. Ian Knight slaughters and steals it from the anthropologists who unearthed it. Joyce Diamond takes it from his corpse in the desert when Billy Slick defends his love from his master. Joyce uses it in her quest to become the Empress of Hades.
Reglius - One of the 7 Devils of Mary Magdalene. He is the spokesmen of the possession of June Hunter. When Joyce Diamond possesses June with the demon, it is up to Pat and Aaron to team with the demonologist Troy Knight and the demon hunter Julius Sanctus. They must save the woman they love from Joyce’s plan to have Reglius weed out the whereabouts of the shadow ball from June’s mind.
Father Derek West - Exorcist who shows up in the desert to save June Hunter and her friends from the machinations of Ian Knight. He falls in love with Hannah White, the half-breed daughter of Celeste White. Covered in tattoos and loving women, he is a dubious priest to lead the Hunters in the final battle for the shadow ball.
Hannah White - The illegitimate daughter of Celeste White and Dennis Holt (the demon Jezebel). When her mother dies, she tracks down the half-brother she never knew, Mark Hunter. He is the only family she has left and when he rejects the half-breed, she turns against the Hunters and embraces Joyce Diamond. Not even Derek West, her lover, can save her from Joyce’s lies.
Father Cole - New York City Exorcist and the ward of Candice Grey. He exorcises Reglius from June Hunter and aids her companions against the 3 Sisters when they show up to claim the prize Reglius lost: June.
Billy Slick - The staunch muscle of Ian Knight. He is a criminal with no qualms about violence. When he kills in Detroit, Joyce Diamond hides him out for a year, and he falls hopelessly in love. He ties Joyce to Ian Knight and they become a potent triade in the war for the shadow ball.
Sonya White - The illegitimate daughter of Frank Erdos and Anna Regnum. When Pat Ryan is wounded in the fight for the shadow ball, Anna sends her daughter to replace the healer, Carla Coyne, to wheedle her way into the Hunter ranks. June is stunned when Pat seems to develop feelings for this newcomer…
Heather Fey - Sister of Nina Fey. She has been hospitalized since a teen for hearing voices and seeing people who aren’t there. Not until the 3 Sisters show up and Heather uses her abilities against Anna Regnum does Nina realize that maybe there is something more to her sister.
Shadow Ball - A baseball-sized sphere of pink glass with silver veins running throughout it. Gabe White uses the ancient prison to banish Terrance Diamond (the demon Malaki) from the world. He is trapped within its silver jail bars and Gabe is astonished that a following for the devil flourishes. His legions believe he is the Anti-Christ and a myriad of conspiracy theories take over the internet until it is a war for the end of the world.
Silver Sword - An ancient weapon used by a succession of Exorcists to battle the demonic hordes of the world. It is used to dispatch the demon Sariel disguised as Kyle Linx. Candice Grey uses it in defense of the Hunter family. Vesta Silva steals it in the bid to usher in the Apocalypse.
The Talisman - Ancient tome rumored to hold the secrets to the end of the world. Legend has it the great Library of Alexandria was razed to destroy its mysteries. It is written in an primeval language which only demons can read… and Troy Knight. He seeks the Book not only to keep it out of the hands of Terrance Diamond’s legions, but also in a vain hope it might hold a cure to Vesta Silva’s curse, to bring back to him the woman he loves.
3 Sisters - The illegitimate tiplets of Stacey White and the demon Sariel in the guise of Kyle Linx. Mark believes they are his own until they turn sixteen when their birthright comes to the surface. The oldest is born Vanessa White and transforms into Vesta Silva, a modern day vampire whose kiss is death. Anna White becomes Anna Regnum, warped by a lifetime of being able to read the emotions of those around her. She is the leader of the siblings, embracing their destiny wholeheartedly. Mary White is scarred hideously by holy water as a child and is an act of vengeance known as Mary Solomon.
Half-breeds - A human with demon blood in their veins. A true half-breed has a parent who is hell spawn, but they could have an ancestor in their lineage with demon blood. Half-breeds often suffer from physical or mental ailments which is more pronounced the fresher the tainted demon blood pumping in their veins.
Exorcists - A secret sect of Catholic priests who are trained to defend the earth against the hordes of Hell trying to overrun their world. This can come in the guise of possessions, ancient prophecies or half-breeds bent on inviting the devils into their lives. They have employed a trio of silver swords throughout the ages, and the location of only one is known in the modern age. The Diamond legions seek to steal it and hide it away so they can proceed with their campaign of taking over the world unimpeded.
